New Study Links Long Term ADHD Medication to Improved Mental Health

A recent longitudinal study of over 2,000 clients on Methylphenidate, a common ADHD medication, found that short and long-acting use of the medication is not linked to worsened mental health outcomes. In fact, the medication decreases the chance of depression and behavioral issues. The medication is not associated with the development of psychosis. Attached is a link to the article for review. I hope this study lessons parental anxiety associated with medicating children for ADHD.

All the best,

Eddie
